The school, founded in 1971 by the legendary Saw.Ganesan, a visionary and a freedom fighter, offers education from LKG to XII standard as per Matriculation syllabus of Tamilnadu. The school has a total built up area of 17,500 Sq.ft on a land of about 3 Acres. Centrally located in Karaikudi, there are fully equipped laboratories for Chemistry, Physics and Biology. There are 8 computers including 4 with Multimedia capabilities. This is the first school to get Internet facility in the region. The Pre Primary classes are taught using Playway or Montessori method and have toys suitable for the children and for their activities. In games, our infrastructure supports Badminton, Table Tennis and Volleyball apart from the other popular games. A court for playing basket ball is being planned.
The Management:
The school is being managed by the Kamban Trust whose main activity is to spread the language of Tamil and means to achieve it is the conduct of Kamban Vizha . The School was founded to impart knowledge in the best possible way commensurate with the high standards of literary commitment that the founder showed in the conduct of Kamban Vizha. The school is managed by a committee of nine eminent persons.
